Meet Dr. Van Huffel

I have been practicing dentistry since 1994 after spending my undergraduate years at Ohio University in Athens then four years in dental school at The Ohio State University (Go Bucks!). I then completed a one year fellowship in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at OSU. I started my practice in Gahanna at my current location in 1995 while also on staff at Children’s Hospital in Columbus. I left Children’s Hospital in 1997 to devote myself full-time to my private practice here in Gahanna and starting my family. After practicing 13 years in my first little office space, I built and moved into this office space in 2008. I have traveled to Sri Lanka for a Christian dental mission trip and I have volunteered at the Vineyard Church dental clinic since 2011. I have thoroughly enjoyed dentistry for the past 22 years and look forward to many more years of loving to come to work each day. I have been blessed with 3 children that keep me hopping. We are involved in running, cycling, snow skiing, robotics competition, cross fit, field hockey, basketball, lacrosse and Taekwondo. Never a dull moment! I want to thank all of our dental family for entrusting us with your health. We are honored and truly grateful!
