Evan

Evan first connected with the practice in 2023, when he began shadowing Dr. Van Huffel as a high school senior. His interest in dentistry quickly grew, and by the summer of 2025, he officially joined the team as a dental assistant.

In his role, Evan assists with a variety of tasks, including procedures, rinsing, cleaning, preparing crowns, setting up rooms, and keeping supplies organized and fully stocked. He enjoys the fast-paced, hands-on environment and takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable throughout their visits.

Evan is currently working toward his degree at Columbus State Community College. Before beginning his dental journey, he earned a Division I football scholarship and played for Temple University in Philadelphia. He brings the same drive and discipline to the dental office that he once brought to the field.

Outside of work, Evan loves spending time with his girlfriend, Rorey, whether they’re watching movies and shows or playing video games together. His favorite comfort food is a bacon burger, and his all-time favorite film is Eyes Wide Shut by Stanley Kubrick.

Evan’s goal is for every patient to walk out the door with confidence in their smile and the care they received, because for him, nothing beats helping someone feel their best.
